Anita Barone
Anita Barone is a versatile stage performer who's largely only seen on TV sitcoms. Her first break in this medium after she married Jeff Foxworthy during "The Jeff Foxworthy Show," a series that aired on ABC between 1995 to 1996. Barone's first appearance on stage was when she was five, in Detroit which was where her family relocated after having moved to the city from St Louis. By the time she turned 23, Barone had already appeared in 50 shows. The majority of these were on stage in university and regional theaters. The role she played was Juliet, a frightened young nun in "Agnes of God," Helen Keller, the principal character in "Monday After the Miracle," as well as Juliet reprised on screen in "Romeo and Juliet." The year 1987 was the first time she had part in a feature film called "Ricochet". Barone also appeared in a scene in "The Rozary Murders". In 1996, she played the lead role in an uninvolved romantic comedy named "Just Friends". Barone was recruited by NBC between 1990 and 1991 as a stockholder for "Carol and Company" which was the disastrous plan of Carol Burnett at reviving the sketch comedy/variety show. Barone played the role for the first time in "Wounded Heart" in 1995, an USA Network film. Barone returned to sitcoms with a weekly schedule with her co-star in "Daddio", NBC 2000, co-starring with Michael Chiklis.
